Dear East Allen County Schools Families,

December can be a very busy month for all of us. So, I have several dates to share with you.

• Last day of school prior to winter recess is Friday, December 20. Schools will be closed from Monday, December 23 through Tuesday, January 6. Students will return to school on January 7.

• The district’s administration offices will be open to the public on December 23, 26, 27, and 30, from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Normal office hours resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.

So far this year we have been blessed with mild weather. Please remember that when school is canceled, EACS students and teachers will be expected to be on-line by 9:45 AM the same day of a cancellation to participate in eLearning. Instructions for eLearning are available at the top right-hand corner of the EACS website. If you have questions regarding eLearning, please contact your child’s teacher or the school principal.
