Honors Band Recognized by Board of School Trustees

The 2024 Three Rivers Honors Band weekend is an annual event that brings students together from across the state to participate in a weekend of intensive rehearsals and sectionals with nationally renowned faculty and conductors on the campus of Purdue University Fort Wayne and  culminates in a wonderful afternoon performance.  The performance was conducted on Saturday, December 7.

The Annual Three Rivers Honor Band features talented middle and high school band students with guest conductors.  The middle school conductor was Gail Brechting. Ms. Brechting is in her twenty-eighth year as the conductor of the award-winning West Michigan Concert WINDS. The high school conductor was Mr. Kerry Taylor, who served the past 35 years as Director of Bands for Westlake High School.

Several East Allen County School students were selected to be a part of this very prestigious honor band.  Those students are:
