Emmalee Hoot, senior at Woodlan High School was ‘surprised’ by Community Foundation representatives and presented with Lilly Endowment Scholarship award! The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program was first offered in 1998. The Lilly Endowment Inc. awards full-tuition scholarships to selected students from each county in Indiana. Each scholarship must be used to pursue a baccalaureate degree at any accredited public or private Indiana college or university. The Endowments hopes that this program will continue to encourage many of Indiana's most talented students to attend one of Indiana's fine higher education institutions and after graduation consider pursuing occupations in Indiana.”
Emmalee will also receive, full tuition, required fees, and book stipend for four years. Emmalee will attend Valparaiso University to study Engineering.
