https://youtu.be/w74SRbXWChY Today the Allen County Sheriff’s S.W.A.T teams visited the students at New Haven Intermediate, New Haven Primary, Prince Chapman Academy and Southwick Elementary. They got the opportunity to see a police dog in “action”, sit in S.W.A.T vehicle and learn all about the equipment they use. It was an awesome day. Thank you!!!
Spring Break - March 29 - April 8th - school closed. Students return to school Tuesday, April 9th.
A shout out to Robin Davis, Kristi Lengacher and Amanda Fowler at New Haven Primary for putting the mural together for Disability Awareness Month. It literally had a lot of pieces and parts and we appreciate all the work they put into it. Please take a look at it down by the cafeteria across from rooms 27 and 28!
Gov. Eric Holcomb has proclaimed March 19 as National Ag Day in Indiana. Indiana is the ninth largest agricultural producing state in the country. The state has over 94,000 farmers, and agricultural production is valued at over $18 billion. Indiana farmers cultivate over 14.6 million acres and establish over 47,000 soil conservation practices each year which kept an estimated 1.8 million tons of soil in the farm fields.
